Nyeri businessman accused of killing son has died

Nyeri based businessman accused of killing his son Stephen Wang’ondu is dead.

Family reports say he died Friday while admitted at a private hospital.

The 75 year old man is alleged to have killed his son alongside James Mahinda, Eddy Kariuki, Raphael Wachira and Geoffrey Warutumo.

His son Daniel Wang’ondu died on January 1,2021.

The deceased is said to have been struggling financially and thus allegedly killed his son in order to get life insurance claim of of his death.

He was out on Sh. 1 million bail.
