Nairobi – Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai has ordered a probe after a female officer’s video went viral.
The officer attached to the Traffic Department in Mombasa had complained against unfair treatment and sexual harassment and had threatened to resign.
She also complained against a merchant and was subjected to an inquiry by the DCI, resulting into a departmental action.
The IG through his twitter handle directed the Gender and Children directorate to independently investigate the matter and give a report within 7 days.
