
Mtihani House – Simuyu Robinson Wanjala from Murang’a Highschool emerged the top in the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha while releasing the results said Wanjala got grade A plain of 87.334 points and was followed closely by Wasonga Allan who garnered 87.173 points from Agoro Sare Highschool.
The first girl in this year’s KCSE 2020 was Sharon Chepngeno and she scored 87.173 points.

143,140 students out of the total 747,161 candidates who sat for the exams qualified to join university after obtaining the minimum grade of C+.
