Raila Odinga says BBI reggae is still on

KISUMU- Orange Democratic Leader (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has said that Building Bridges Initiative is alive and campaigns are still on.

Speaking in Kondele, Kisumu town, the handshake co-principle said they were working to overturn the High court rulling against a possible referendum for the Constitutional Amendment Bill 2010.

The African Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development urged Kenyans not to worry about the developments in court stating that everything will be sorted out.

He said those against the BBI were enemies of their reforms agenda together with President Uhuru Kenyatta but affirmed that nobody can stop reggae.

The ODM party leader earlier on had a meeting with Kisumu Governor Nyong’o, MCA’s and ODM County officials at Sunset Hotel.

He later on went to inspect the progress of the newly constructed Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Kisumu.

The AU special envoy is in Kisumu ahead of Madaraka Day celebrations set to be held on 1st June.
