The Jubilee Party agents in Kiambaa by-election have alleged vote rigging and want votes recounted.

The provisional results showed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate John Njuguna Wanjiku ahead of Jubilee’s Njama Karanja Kariri by 244 votes.

Njuguna had 21,301 votes while Kariri had 21,057 votes out of the 152 polling stations reporting.

Jubilee’s Kariri demanded a recount of the votes, saying he won’t accept the election outcome if the recount won’t be conducted.
