Faith Kipyegon has successfully defended her 1500M crown at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics meet on Friday.
Faith clocked a new Olympics record time of 3:53.11 to win the race.
Her gold takes Kenya’s tally to two same as Uganda, who won the men’s 5000M.
Elsewhere, Uganda’s Joshua Cheptegei is the 2020 Tokyo Olympics 5000M gold medalist.
Joshua won the race in in a time of 12:58.15, becoming the first ever Ugandan to win the race.
Kenya’s sole representative in the race Nicholas Kimeli finished fourth outside the medal bracket.
