Kenya Police FC will host Vihiga United FC for a return match at Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi this weekend in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) promotion playoffs.
This is after Kenya Police held Vihiga in a 1-1 draw at the Mumias Sports Complex over the weekend.
In the match, Kenya Poice’s Clinton Kinanga slid to tap in the ball to the back of the net opening the scores for the away team in the 9th minute after he received a timely cross into the area.
Vihiga United then equalised in the 25th minute through Lesley Otieno’s goal, sealing the halftime scores at 1-1.
After the breather, both teams tried to break the stalemate but their efforts fell naught sealing the full-time scores at 1-1.
Both teams now meet in Nairobi this weekend on Sunday 19 in the FKF PL/NSL playoff that will determine who will be promoted and relegated.
