Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp apps crash throughout the world

Users of Facebook Inc’s apps have reported an outage of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram apps.

Several people took to twitter and other social media pages to report the outages they were experiencing across the apps.

Some users reported thinking it was a data or WiFi problem before they realised those were not the real problems.

Facebook Inc’s apps were down for thousands of users, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.

Downdetector showed there were more than 20,000 incidents of people reporting issues with Facebook and Instagram.

It is unclear what went wrong as Facebook is yet to make a statement on the outage.
