
The government of Kenya has extended the dusk to dawn curfew for another thirty (30) more days.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced this after the lapse of a previous extension last week..
CS Kagwe said the 30 day period will be used to vaccinate as many people as possible.
He said the country has experienced a low infection rate of 2.7 per cent in the few past day. He also encouraged Kenyans to turn up for vaccinations.
Curfew hours still remain from 10 pm-4 am.
Kagwe was speaking during the launch of the Covid-19 information portal on Monday October 4, 2021.
