Senator Kipchumba Murkomen Speaks on leaving UDA

Murkomen’s statement come days after Oscar Sudi’s video attacking him went viral on social media.

Social media platforms have been awash with information about Senator for Elgeyo Marakwet Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen.

This includes a video of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi attacking him which went viral.

But Senator Murkomen dismissed the reports as rumours and urged his supported to ignore them.

In a tweet, Murkomen said his enemies took his absence to peddle rumours and write ‘silly notes’ in his name.

The former Senate Majority leader on Jubilee Party said he had just landed in the country from the US Capital where he represented the country.

“Just returned from the US Capitol where we held meetings with Congressmen on matters of mutual interest to our 2 countries. In my absence propagandists, bloggers, busy bodies and all manner of nose parkers have been peddling rumors and writing silly notes in my name. Desperados. Ignore them,” Murkomen wrote on Facebook.

Murkomen added screenshots from bloggers Wahome Thuku and Donald B. Kipkorir. He also added another one claiming he had fallen out with UDA.

” Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has fallen out with UDA presidential candidate William Ruto. Is Murkomen sending out a cryptic message to the Kalenjin Nation, to wait for his advice of who to support in 2022?” read part of the screenshot.
