Buruburu Girls High School Dormitory on fire. Students jump through windows

NAIROBI – There were chaotic scenes at Buruburu High School Sunday afternoon after fire broke out in one of the dormitories.

In a video seen by Payuka.Co.Ke, students jumped through the windows of a dormitory housed in a storey building.

Smoke billowed through different sections of the dormitory as students were wailing uncontrollably inside the tightly fenced school.

This is just hours after another fire incident at Nyandema Secondary School in Nyatike, Migori County county.

Update

The incident left at least 50 students hospitalised the Metropolitan Hospital following the incident.
