CHAVAKALI – Fire broke out at a Chavakali High School Sunday October 31, 2021, just hours after a similar incident at Buruburu Girls High School.
In a video seen by Payuka.Co.Ke, students struggled to put out the fire that resulted to a huge smoke engulfing several buildings.
Students milled around their dormitory and watched helplessly as their belongings consumed by the wild fire.
Locals who came to witness the fire incident wondered when the fire engine would arrive to put out the fire.

Earlier in the day in Nairobi, students jumped through windows at Buruburu Girls High School after their dormitory caught fire.
Emergency services rushed several injured students to the hospital after the chaos from the fire incident.
Another similar Nyandema Secondary School in Nyatike, Migori County adds to the many cases of fire incidences witnessed this term.
