There was a fire incident at ACK St Paul’s Lubinu Boys High School in Kakamega after a dormitory caught fire few minutes after noon.
Reports indicate the fire boke out as students were in class.
Photos shared online show smoke billowing from the first floor of a two storey building as helpless students watch.
At the time of going to press, no fire engine had arrived at the scene to put out the fire.

This comes barely a week after students reported from half term.
The Ministry of Education announced the half term as a measure to curb the growing number of school fires across the country.
