Migori county woman representative Dr. Pamela Odhiambo accused ODM party chairman John Mbadi and friends for deceiving the party leader Raila Amollo Odinga.
Dr. Pamela claimed that Mbadi and a clique of his ODM friends were bragging to already have gotten direct nominations, a move that could ‘spoil’ for Odinga.
The women representative said the party must conduct a free and fair party nomination ahead of the 2022 general election.
This she said will give an equal platform for all aspirants eyeing the party ticket in the coming election.
Dr. Pamela who is also eyeing the Migori gubernatorial seat said ODM party members should be given an opportunity to nominate their leaders in the anticipated ODM party nominations.
She said the leaders going round claiming that the party tickets were reserved for some individuals were causing voter apathy among voters.
Dr. Pamela said such claims are weakening the ODM party and should be discouraged adding that they are ready for a free and fair ODM party nomination and expect the same from the party leadership.
