Rauka host Kambua leaves Citizen TV. Where to Next?

Citizen TV’s Rauka show host Kamuba Mathu resigned from the national broadcaster Sunday January 16 2022.

This is after she worked to the Citizen TV for over 12 years.

Kambua had been hosting the Kubamba gospel show together with DJ Moz, artist Timeless Noel and DJ Gee Gee before she switched to Rauka Show.

At Rauka Show, she was with DJ Ken whom they worked together until her resignation.

In a video tweet by Citizen TV, Kambua thanked all those who held her hands during her 12 year journey at the Royal media services.

“I take this opportunity to thank all those people who held my hand during my tenure as the #Rauka host for 12years. The time has come for me to hang my boots and take a bow ” said Kambua Sunday.

Her resignation drew immediate reaction from her fans who wished her all the best in her next journey.

Gospel Artist who Sarah K who was live in Citizen TV studio during the event celebrated Kambua as a role model to many during her time on air.

“This great woman has been an inspiration not only to us but everyone that is looking and watching right now,” said Sarah K.

Former co-host DJ Gee Gee on his part thanked Kambua for the role she played in molding him as a TV presenter.

“I rember Kambua is one of the people who guided me on how to even articulate myself on TV,” said DJ Gee Gee.

Laura Karwirwa said Kambua was a pillar of faith and a light for many women across the world.

Kambua is married to pastor Jackson Mathu and the two have a kid together.
