Communication officer attached to Deputy President William Ruto Dennis Itumbi was reportedly abducted on December 23 2020.
Itumbi was outside a barbershop in Kiambu’s Thindigua when the unfortunate event happened.
Reports say the alleged abductors bundled him into a waiting car that drove off to unknown destination.
Police reports state that bodaboda riders discovered the blogger with various injuries in Lucky Summer on the same day.
Rescuers rushed him to a hospital in the Kasarani area before his transfer to Nairobi West.
Itumbi was then discharge from hospital on January 12 where he assured his followers and Hustler Nation he was recuoerating.
The following day, the Hustler Nation spokesperson narrated on his socials handles what transpired the fateful day.

Itumbi then thanked a Boniface Makokha who drove him to hospital.
But fresh details have emerged in the abduction case of Dennis Itumbi.

One user Benjamin Ngila asked the IG about “truth about the issue of itumbi”
But IG Mutyambai said Itumbi had not recorded an official statement with the police about his case.
“We are still waiting for him to record an official statement on his account of events as investigations continue into the alleged abduction. #EngageTheIG,” said IG Mutyambai.
