Images of armed police breaking into Jimmy Wanjigi’s office surfaced online Monday night January 17.
Several officers arrived at Wanjigi’s Kwacha Group of Companies offices in Westlands Nairobi at around 9.30pm.
Images seen by Payuka.Co.Ke showed the officers standing outside the gate to the officers waiting to gain access.
Citizen.Digital reported that Wanjigi and his son alongside some staff members were holed up in the offices.
By 10.26pm, the officers accessed the guard house as per another screengrab shared online.
By time of going to press, it was unclear why the officers raided the premise.
But Kenyans online linked the raid to his political ambitions.
