Heavily Pregnant Muthoni Drummer Queen Shares Photos

Spread the Word

Rapper Muthoni Ndonga, popularly known as Muthoni the Drummer Queen, is expectant.

Muthoni the Drummer Queen revealed this through her Instagram, catching fans unawares.

This was in response to her fan’s concerns of her whereabouts after staying silent for a while.

But the cultural entrepreneur said she spent most of her days in 2021 at home, and away from people.

“Between cooking a new life and avoiding Covid, I spent most of 2021 actively at home/away from humans *sorry media guys, you see why I declined all your in-person requests for promo of river,” she wrote in part.

Showing off her baby bump, Muthoni added that she deliberately decided to keep the pregnancy news to herself.

Keeping her Secrete

However, she thanked her family and friends for keeping the pregnancy a secrete, adding that and only those close to her knew about it.

“Our colleagues, inner circle & family have been so great in cheering us on and keeping our business, until we were ready to share. This ten-month journey has been intensely beautiful…my heart is so full it literally overflows with gratitude and joy 2/4,” she added.

Muthoni joins a growing list of celebrities who have announced that they are expecting. Earlier this week, content creators Kabi and Milly WaJesus announced that they are expecting their second child.

“We are super happy to finally share the exciting news with our online family. The Wajesus family is growing and we give God all the glory. He has chosen us to be parents once more and knit together a little one to join our family,” the couple wrote.

News about WaJesus family pregnancy came just a day after Comedian Oliver Otieno aka YY announced the arrival of his daughter. Sharing the news on social media, YY posted a photo of his girlfriend Marya, showering her with praises for safely delivering their bundle of joy.

“The mother to the daughter of a King?… stronger than a Moissanite…I would have played you a song but you holding my guitar in your hand…I can’t tell you enough how much I honor your selflessness,” he wrote.
