Here are UDA Party nomination dates

The United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA) on Wednesday announced that it will conduct party nominations from 9th to 16th April 2022.

According to communication from the party primaries will be held in all counties across the nation.

The DP Ruto party said the date was arrived at after several sittings of its newly inaugurated National Elections Board.

“The National Elections Board has had several sittings in line with IEBC calendar wishes to announce to all aspirants that party nominations will be held from 9th to 16th April 2022. The nominations will be held in all counties across the republic,” the press statement read in part.

The statement, undersigned against the name of the National Elections Board chairman Anthony Mwaura, underscored that the party preliminaries will be free and fair. Mwaura averred that the nascent party has no preferred aspirants that it has set aside for any direct ticket.

“The party leader Deputy President William Ruto has personally given his undertaking that the nominations will be free and fair. This means the party has no preferred aspirant and it has not set aside any direct ticket. All aspirants will face Wanjiku’s verdict on nominations day,” the statement read further.

The party also stated that it has commenced a verification process for the aspirants who have since paid up their nominations fees as announced on February 3, 2022.

The board also reminded aspirants that the deadline for the payment of the nomination’s fees is February 28, 2022.

The board further announced that it will embark on a countrywide tour purposely to meet aspirants in their counties.
