The ODM National Executive Committee (NEC) has endorsed Party Leader Raila Odinga as the Presidential candidate in the forth coming August election.
In a letter seen by Payuka.Co.Ke, ODM NEC made several proposals ahead of the slated National Governing Council meeting to be held tomorrow.
Among the proposals are changes to the nomination rules to include consensus, direct ticket, delegates system and universal suffrage.
The letter signed by ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has also proposed to the NGC to postpone the election of officials to sometime next year due to Covid-19 pandemic.

ODM’s NEC has also proposed the NGC ratify the decision of the party to join “Azimio La Umoja Party/Coalition party”
