Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha Thursday March 16, 2022 said KCPE 2021 release date will be next week.
Speaking to the press Prof. Magoha said the marking of multiple choice papers of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education was complete.
The Education CS added that the next five days from Friday March 17, 2022 will be used to mark essays of both English (composition) and Kiswahili (Insha).
“We are completing the marking of multiple choice question tomorrow, so the rest of four five days will be for marking Kiswahili insha and compositions,” said Magoha.

On the exact date of KCPE 2021 release date, Magoha said the Ministry was “working with sometime next week.”
“Anytime between Wednesday and Saturday, depending on the President’s availability, we should tell our children how they’ve performed” was the answer the Education CS gave to reporters.
The CS said the early release of KCPE 2021 would give the parents ample time to prepare their children for form one reporting later this year.
Elsewhere in the on going KCSE 2021, Magoha noted that another case of exam malpractice was reported “somewhere in Mbooni.”
According to Magoha, security agents picked up one “bold” teacher who allegedly opened and scanned a paper that was to be done as a second paper later in the day.
