This is the official list of top 7 most improved schools per region according to KCSE 2021 results per region as read by CS George Magoha.

The improvement was measured against the mean Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) performance of the candidates.

Here is a list of the top schools in KCSE 2021 results per region:

3. Mama Malia Academy School – Eastern Region

Top 15 2021 KCSE Students Results

1,138 (0.14%) candidates obtained an overall Grade A in the 2021 KCSE Examination compared to 893 (0.12%) candidates in 2020.

Candidates with minimum university entry qualification of Grade C+ and above rose to 145,145 (17.49%) in KCS 2021 results compared to 143,140 (19.03%) in 2020. 

However, the percentage of candidates with mean Grade of C+ and above declined from 19.03 to 17.49.

The number of candidates with a minimum TVET Diploma courses qualification of grade C- and above in 2021 was 325,896 (39.27%). 

“We therefore need to invest more in TVET institutions where the bulk of our 31 KCSE Examination graduands will study,” said CS Magoha.
