CAPTAIN OCHENGE: Boda rider arrested after being assaulted by two ladies

A boda boda rider, Captain Ochenge, is reportedly behind bar after he was allegedly assaulted by two ladies.

According to the rider who goes by the name Captain Kerom (@CaptainOchenge) on twitter, he was arrested after reporting an assault case involving two ladies.

In a twitter post dated March 8, 2022 at 7.05 PM, Captain Ochenge said he reported to Ngong Police station after he was assaulted by two ladies.

His details were captured under OB 55/21/2/2022 (see photo attached) at 2001HRS and allowed to go home.

Ochenge said he was called back on March 8, 2022 (day of the tweet) to check on the progress only to be thrown behind bars.

He revealed that one of the ladies, who allegedly assaulted her, is a wife to a police officer.

“Was assaulted by two ladie and I reported to the police. Was called to go and check on the progress only to be thrown in the cell. Been here since morning.” read Captain Ochenge’s tweet in part.

The tweet further reads, “She’s a wife to a police officer. The office assigned to my case is not helping. Nimenyangaywa Simu… limited access” read Ochenge’s tweet.”

Ochenge’s case sparked an online conversation where twitter users called for the investigation into the case.

This case comes hot in the heels of another involving another lady motorist who was assaulted by boda boda rider on Forest road, Nairobi.

The Forest road incident drew nation wide condemnation and police announced over rider were arrested.

President Uhuru Kenyatta also weighed in on the case during his International Women’s Day speech, calling for speedy action.
