In this article we are going to talk about TSC most marketable subject combinations with high employerbility in Kenya today.
You should note that the Teachers Service Commission publishes an advert yearly for replacement of teachers who have exited the teaching service, maybe through retirement or natural attrition.
We have gone through the TSC ads and noted some of the most marketable subject combination.
These combinations are are normally presented to the commission by the respective secondary schools.

But getting a teaching job with the TSC depends on three factors namely;
> Subject combination
>Length of stay after graduation and
>Willingness to work in any part of the country
Below is a list of TSC most marketable subject combination;
1. Biology with Chemistry
2. Mathematics with Physics
3. Physics and Chemistry
4. Mathematics with Chemistry
5. english and Literature
6. Biology and Agriculture
7. Computer/Mathematics or Computer and any other combination
8. I.R.E and any combination e.g History
These subject combinations are appearing quite often in the TSC list of post-primary school teacher vacancies.
Other common subject combination in Kenya include;

2. Kiswahilli and History
3. Kiswahilli and Geography
4. History and C.R.E
5. History and Geograph y
6. Geography and C.R.E
7. Maths and Biology
8. Maths and Geography
There is a rare combination, Business/Geography, which has started to come up, but currently few schools are filing for vacancies in this category.
Before enrolling for any secondary school education, you must have scored a mean grade of at least C+ in KCSE, and C+ in the two subject combination you wish to pursue.
