Former US President Barack Obama have paid tribute to their dog, Bo, after it died Saturday.
The Obama’s took to social media to mourn their dog which they described as “our best friend.”
President Obama said for more that a decade, Bo was a constant, gentle presence in their lives—happy to see them on their good days, bad days, and everyday in between.
Bo, a black and white Portuguese water dog was a gift for their daughters as they settled into the White House.
Michele on the other hand said the water dog helped them adjust to “life as empty nesters” when their daughters alia and Sasha left home for university.
Bo died after a battle with cancer.
