FKF – Effects of the war pitting the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and the Ministry of sports have began to show.

This is after the caretaker committee appointed to oversee the running of the FKF suspended all leagues in the country.

In a letter seen by Payuka.Co.Ke, the caretaker committee suspended the league for a period of two weeks begining November 12, 2021.

The committee said the period will be used to regularize the league across the country by engaging clubs and stakeholders.

The committee has suspended the FKF Premier League, FKF National Super League and FKF Division One.

Others are FKF Women Premier League and FKF Women Division One League.

The committee however urged leagues running under branches and sub-branches to continue as usual.

“The decision has been reached to ensure the regularisation of the league activities across the country” read the statement in part.
