Churchill Show Comedian Jasper Muthomi, stage name MC Jessy, today joined United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
Photos shared by the party on Wednesday, January 19, showed DP William Ruto receiving the comedian to the Hustler Movement.

Jessy, who is vying for South Imenti Member of Parliamentary seat, said his supporters pushed him to UDA.
“It’s now clear where the vision is heading. After many days of consultative meetings with my South Imenti people, I have officially been invited to join UDA.
“The groundwork that has been done has finally landed on the side of the winning team,” said Jessy.

MC Jessy joined the 2022 Parliamentary race in November after following an endorsement from the constituency’s elders.
“This weekend, I was grateful and humbled by the elders that raised me and who are from my home constituency of South Imenti when they honoured and bestowed on me the blessings and responsibilities to lead South Imenti Constituency as the Member Of Parliament,” he announced at the time.
Other entertainers who have thrown their hats into the political ring include Felix Odiwuor (Jalang’o) who is vying for the Lang’ata seat.
Others are Roy Smith Mwatia (Rufftone) – Nairobi Senator) and Jackson Makini (Prezzo) – MP Kibra .
