As we head to the general election 2022, we have listed poorest counties in Kenya alongside a list of their governors.
Leading the park of poorest counties in Kenya are Eastern and North Eastern Counties which have been marginalised for a long time followed by pastoral counties in Rift Valley.
Coincidentally, these are counties that receive little or no rainfall throughout the year thus cannot do farming, which is the countries economic backbone.
Closing the list of top ten poorest counties are counties from Nyanza that have been in opposition since indepence, hence left out in the national development agenda.
